Your first hour with ReacherX
Choose one goal, set up your workspace, review the first people found, and prepare a useful first message.
You shouldn't need a sales or marketing background to use ReacherX. I'm a developer and designer building it to stay that simple, and this guide walks you through your first hour with the app.
You do need to explain what you want, though. ReacherX won't know what makes someone useful to you until you tell it. For this walkthrough, let's use hiring: you need an engineer for a contract project involving payments in a web app.
Go through setup with one goal in mind
Setup starts with a conversation. Explain the work and the experience the person needs; △ Agent uses that request to propose an audience and example candidates.
You could start with:
I need an engineer for a contract project. They should have experience building checkout or payment features for web apps. Help me find people whose work shows that experience. I want to ask whether they're available for a conversation about the project.
Be clear about requirements and preferences. If a particular technology is required, say so. Add your website if it helps explain the project. Read the proposed audience before continuing and correct anything △ Agent misunderstood.
