ReacherX vs Apollo: which fits the people you need to reach?
Compare a sales-focused platform with ReacherX’s approach to finding customers, candidates, research participants, and other people.
I design and build ReacherX myself, and the aim is a tool powerful enough to be useful yet simple enough that you don't need a sales or marketing background to run it.
That's where I'm coming from with ReacherX. Apollo is one of the products people might compare it with, but I don't think of this as trying to build the same thing with a different interface.
The person you need isn't always a customer
The problem of finding the right people and getting access to them is not just a problem focused on sales. This comes up in almost everything. You want to hire the right people, raise funds, find someone to interview, or start a community. You need a way to find those people and talk to them.
I personally believe ReacherX is a useful kind of tool for small and early teams. Three or four people who are just starting out and need to find the people they're looking for. It's also for a one-person team. Since ReacherX is still pretty early, I don't think it's ready for bigger teams and organizations yet.
